I’ve been teaching here for almost two years, and I feel so grateful to be part of a program that truly values children and their natural curiosity.
I’m also a mom of two boys, which has shaped the way I see and support young children every day. I love helping children feel comfortable, confident, and excited to explore their world. Whether we’re reading stories, spending time outside, or working through big feelings together, I believe in meeting each child where they are and helping them grow at their own pace.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know you and your children and building strong relationships with your family throughout the year.

I live in Marin with my family, and my 4-year-old daughter is also part of the school community, which makes this work especially meaningful to me. Being both a parent and a teacher allows me to see the school experience from both perspectives, and it has deepened my commitment to creating a warm, supportive, and engaging environment for all children.
I enjoy following children’s interests and curiosity as they learn and grow, whether that means joining them in imaginative play, exploring new ideas together, or helping them navigate social and emotional moments throughout the day. I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and understood, and I strive to build strong relationships with each child and their family.

I am a proud mom to my two children, Luc and Madison, who continue to inspire and amaze me every day. I have always felt a strong connection to nature and find peace near the water, especially at the beach or swimming in the ocean. My family and I love spending time outdoors together, whether we are gardening, hiking, or exploring local creeks.
Marin has always been home for me, and I grew up in Larkspur surrounded by its natural beauty. These experiences have shaped who I am both personally and professionally. As a teacher, I enjoy creating a warm and engaging classroom environment where children feel supported and encouraged to explore their world with curiosity and confidence. I love bringing my appreciation for the natural world into the classroom and offering learning experiences that inspire wonder, connection, and a lifelong love of learning.

After living in the Pacific Northwest for ten years, I returned to my hometown of Petaluma, California, where I now live with my husband, our three dogs, two cats, and a small flock of backyard chickens. I love spending time in my garden, baking sourdough bread, cooking meals for family and friends, going on long bike rides, hiking with my dogs, and taking ceramics classes (even though I’m still learning how to make a decent pot!).
Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a social worker supporting children and families, which has shaped the way I approach my work in the classroom. As a new teacher, I am excited to bring both my professional background and my love of hands-on, creative learning into this role. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and express themselves. I look forward to growing as a teacher while building strong, caring relationships with the children and families in our community.
